Mau-Mau

Mau-Mau is the quick card game everyone learns at the kitchen table. 32 cards, five in every hand, and the first player to shed all of theirs wins the round. Match the suit or the rank, use the jack as a wild card and name a new suit, make the next player draw two with a seven, skip them with an eight. Say "Mau" before your second-to-last card, or you pay two penalty cards.

Open a table for two to four members, share the room code or send an invite from the Community, and the rounds follow each other automatically with a running total. The host chooses the time per turn and whether sevens may be stacked. Prefer a quiet game? Play solo against one to three computer opponents, with your game saved and resumed on any device.

The winner of a round scores 100 points plus the value of every card still in the other hands: 7 to 10 count face value, jack 20, queen 3, king 4, ace 11. Round wins go to the leaderboard.
